Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering.
What is the difference between a 24V and a 48V hybrid inverter?
A 24V system needs fewer batteries and suits loads up to about 5kW, so it is cheaper to start with. A 48V system carries less current for the same power, which means lower losses, thinner cabling and better efficiency for 6kW and above. All Odinson 6kW–12kW models are 48V.
Can an Odinson inverter run without batteries?
Yes. Models such as the 3.6kW can operate without a battery when adequate solar power is available, and solar plus grid can power your loads at the same time. For night-time backup, a battery bank is required.
Which batteries are supported?
Both lithium (LiFePO4) and lead-acid, including tubular, AGM and gel. Lithium packs communicate over CAN/RS485 BMS so charging stays safe and accurate.
How much solar can I connect?
Depends on the model — 5,000W on the 3.6kW, 9,000W on the 5kW and 6kW IP65, and higher on the 10kW and 12kW units. Never exceed the stated maximum PV open-circuit voltage of 500VDC.
